プロジェクト概要
世界的に例を見ない高齢化のスピードを経験する中で、高齢者の生活の質を落とすことなく、持続的な社会保障システムを構築することが求められている。このプロジェクトでは、これまでの医療・介護・年金ごとの分野別アプローチやマクロモデルを使ったシミュレーション分析の限界を超え、高齢者の多様性を前提にしたミクロ的かつ包括的な市場指向型の「新しい」アプローチを実現するために、過去に実施した調査や同様の高齢者調査(HRS/ELSA/SHARE)の知的支援も十分に踏まえ、「世界標準」の中高年者パネル調査を行う。健康状態、経済状況、家族関係、就業状況、社会参加といった多面的かつ国際的に比較可能なデータ収集を行い、豊富なミクロデータを踏まえた"Evidence-based Policy Making"を日本の社会保障政策分野で確立するとともに、日本の経験を踏まえて諸外国の政策立案にも貢献する。
