Abenomics has shifted to a new stage where steadfast policies are required to overcome the supply constraints of the Japanese economy, primarily caused by an aging society with a decreasing population. Against this backdrop, this project will conduct basic research to explore new industrial policy by taking theoretical and empirical approaches, based on the observations described above.
