Overview

Issues in the employment field that have become clear through the rapid development of new technologies such as AI and the COVID-19 crisis include the role of reskilling and other capacity and skill development in companies, education at the time of schooling, the further spread of new work styles that spread during the COVID-19 period, and the realization of macro-level labor reallocation effects through the spread of job-based personnel management. In response to this, companies have been evolving their traditional work style reforms into human capital management that integrates the above initiatives. In response to this trend, we will further develop the issues raised in the previous project and conduct research and policy proposals aimed at further employment and education reforms, with human capital as the major focus and a "cross-sectional axis," including new themes such as labor reallocation and the application of human capital management to the public sector.
