In an era of shifting economic environments—characterized by structural changes driven by AI advancements and the implementation of extreme high-tariff policies under the second Trump administration—this research examines a range of issues related to achieving sustainable economic growth through the lenses of macroeconomics, economic thought, and corporate governance.
(1) Macroeconomics
Various phenomena related to economic growth, such as asset bubbles, financial crises, and subsequent secular stagnation, will be analyzed from a macroeconomic perspective to explore policy implications for long-term economic and fiscal strategies.
(2) Economic Thought
The future of economics under new environments including the advance of AI, liberalism, and intergenerational issues will be examined with a focus on the framework of "Future Design."
(3) Corporate Governance
Research is undertaken on governance structures that can respond to corporate contingencies and contribute to economic growth.
