On November 14, 2023, RIETI Faculty Fellow UNAYAMA Takashi's book Consumption Analysis in Contemporary Japan: Where we are now in life cycle theory (Keio University Press Inc.) was awarded the 45th Suntory Prize for Social Sciences and Humanities by the Suntory Foundation. The prize is given each year to individuals who have made original, distinguished contributions in research or critiques through publications that adopt a broad perspective on society and culture.
