Japan will be hosting the next G20 meeting in Osaka in June, 2019. Taking advantage of this opportunity, RIETI will contribute to the G20 in the form of timely policy recommendations from the T20, one of the engagement groups of the G20 meeting. Specifically, until the T20 in May, 2019, RIETI will be leading the Taskforces on Trade and Investment and SMEs, where RIETI can utilize its particular knowledge and expertise.
