Announcement
The second Japan-China-Korea (A3) Conference, jointly organized by the Research Institute of Economy, Trade and Industry (RIETI), the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), and the North East Asia Research (NEAR) Foundation, will be held at the RIETI office this year. Since last year's conference, the topic of "Monetary and Financial Cooperation in the Region" has been discussed as the main theme. In addition, we will consider the impacts and lessons of the euro crisis from East Asian perspectives as a subtheme. Furthermore, we will discuss the management of foreign reserves, the Asian Monetary Unit (AMU) as a regional common monetary unit, and the Asian Bond Markets Initiative (ABMI) and capital and financial regulation as long-term regional cooperation issues.
