International Workshop

Geography, Inter-firm Networks, and International Trade

Announcement

Firms operate in complex inter-firm networks which spread globally across country borders. In recent years, researchers have been actively engaging in research using large-scale microdata on inter-firm networks to understand firm activities.

This workshop will focus on network building cost due to geographical factors. The leading domestic and foreign researchers in the fields of international trade and spatial economics will report their latest research results in terms of firm-level networks and the relationships with international trade, firm performance labor market, spillover effects through networks, and impacts to the innovation activities.
