RIETI-JOGMEC-IDE-JETRO Symposium

Economic Analysis of Supply Chain Vulnerabilities

Announcement

As global uncertainty continues to rise and economic security becomes increasingly important, the risks of supply chain disruptions faced by businesses are growing more diverse. This symposium will examine supply chain vulnerabilities through quantitative analysis using a range of data sources.
The sessions will feature discussions led by domestic and international experts from industry, government, and academia on the following themes: analysis of supply chain vulnerabilities using firm-level government statistics, transaction data, and customs records; structural analysis based on international input-output tables and trade data; scenario analysis focusing on East Asia; and the political economy of China.

This event is being held in affiliation with the Global Forum on Economic Security Weeks
