METI-RIETI-AIST-NEDO Symposium

R&D Partnership under the Globalized Economy - Our Experience and the Future

Announcement

Economic activities are increasingly becoming globalized amid intensified levels of competition. Research and development (R&D) is no exception. Japan must now improve its economy's industrial competitiveness while simultaneously tackling other challenges posed by the globalizing economy. The State of New Mexico and METI have entered into a mutually beneficial agreement to promote cooperation in their high-tech endeavors. We hope that this symposium will provide our audience, including members of academia, industry, and the public sector, with an opportunity to become familiar with our experiences, potential, and the future direction of this cooperative relationship.
