We are delighted to announce that a paper co-authored by RIETI Faculty Fellow Professor Sagiri Kitao “Medical expenditures over the life-cycle: persistent risks and insurance,” has received the prestigious 2025 JER Best Article Award for The Japanese Economic Review (JER).
The Japanese Economic Review is a quarterly academic journal in English published by the Japan Economic Association. The JER Best Article Award honors the author(s) of the most outstanding paper published in the journal in a year.
